Dennis was and still is my first choice to be our next president, but we do have another choice, Ralph Nader. He stands for the same things as Dennis. Support Nader no matter if you like him or not! We have lost our voice in the decision making progress our of government , our control of decent wages , job safety , food safety (look at the food poisoning , and job safety violations) freedom and rights when s... on by the corruption of corporation , lost of wages / jobs / manufacturing plants / healthy benefits.
Corportions are running this country through the use of our government and military to achieve whatever they wish , and the countries benefiting by their control certainly isn't USA.
We have become a point they use to start their businesses and operations for their greed , power and to use the might of our military to force their policies on other countries in which they can.
If Americans get serious about a third party you would have to start now to build a strong enough party to win in coming elections. But this would include going with others groups which are just as p...off at the abuse of power coming from our elected officials.
Their is no third party candidate at this point and time which could win the president election and everyone knows this , so to suggest this is a forest.
Our first objective should be to knock off the existing president to rid us of this dictatorial government and start selecting candidates for the coming elections. While we fight each other the elected official in control are broading their power and control over our laws , citizens and country.
Our government was the greatest nation on earth which the methods and laws we have in place and what is destroying it is corporate greed , power and control.
We also need the power to recall any elected official which has lied and not lived up to the policies which he was elected to do and by recall of them , I mean that the voters have this power without any control by our elected officials.
We have the internet and other sources which we did not have when this government was form and we could now use this as a method of voting without the use of our elected officials. The only problem is to stop the private control and censorship of corporations over our usage

Kucinich is my choice too, but we all know that's a dead issue. Nader is a possibility if we get behind him. What's the alternative, Bomb-Bomb McCain or Obama! Those two are DEFINITELY business as usual! As a life-long consumer advocate I think his morality is a lot less questionable than professional politicians who are funded and directed by the major corporations. Nader is funded TOTALLY by you and me! That counts for a lot of what motivates their morality.

I am always uncomfortable when people start quoting Lincoln as a defender of liberty and the constitution; too many people forget that Lncoln fought the civil war to preserve the Union not to free the slaves. The emancipation proclamation was a political ploy to keep England and France out of the war on the side of the South.
Lincoln has been quoted as saying that he would free all the slaves if it would preserve the Union and that he would free none of the slaves if that is what it took to preserve the Union. He is also quoted as saying, if the states can secede than exactly what am I president of? Was Lincoln against slavery, of course he was; but he was also clearly interested in preserving his power and authority as president, more interested in that than anything else. Sound familiar? Think most any president in our history, but especially the current idiot in the White House!
Lincoln and the civil war were the first gigantic step in making the Federal government supreme and superior to the individual states, which has led us to our present position of a near totalatarian police state. We are one terrorist attack away from losing it all for good!

Kucinich was specifically invited to coordinate his efforts - and refused; instead launching his own "unions support me" campaign, in just about 100% direct competition!
Even so, the PledgeToImpeach/Union people already broke through the MSM Wall of Silence on May First - and, tellingly, garnered extensive MSM lying, in an attempt to deflect their impact - when they conducted their End The War Ports ShutDown Strike.

That means they need to be contacted, and all the information, like what we been debating the last few weeks IE Eminent attack on IRAN and the negitive economic ramifications from that action, The continued funding of endless war where nothing will be ever gained, The appearrent impropriety between the Bush administration and the major oil companies ETC, is that enough? I think the Independent truckers, Airline employees, rail road employees, anything to do with transportation, commerence etc, thats the key to victory.
ON A NATIONAL 9-11 STRIKE
Matty, the above post was written by me, was not signed in so it came out as anonomous. But seriously, most americans are not $$$ in a position to abandond their employment for even a few days. You know, years ago, every swingin dick was given from a 10,000.00 to a 100,000.00 line of unsecured credit. This allowed them to purchase what ever it took to pacify them, divert their attention away from their government, and I think this tactic was by design. Today, these poor souls are in debt way over their heads and more than they were ever qualified for, and the lending institutions were fully aware of this, and knew exactly what would eventually occure and eventually the average American was fully comprimised,their attention diverted, subverted, if you will, and essentially disinterrested, unkownledgible totally, about their government, and they will never realize the debt their in was granted to nutralize them, so to speak, by the lending institutions in collusion with the corupt federal government.
But an effective strike does not necessairly need every single american worker to be effective. If those employees involved in commerence, transportation, will strike, then you'll have the effect desired. because if commerence is shut down, even only 1/2, then, within a short period, other areas, that depend on commerence for just in time delivery, or regular delivery is reduced, then other areas will in tern colapse. this economy depends totally on commerence, the delivery of goods and service. Thats the key. STOP COMMERENCE, AND YOU'LL IN TURN STOP MOST EVERYTHING ELSE, AND THEN WHAT? YOU HAVE CREATED A CRISIS THAT JUST CAN'T BE IGNORED. STOP THE TRUCKS, AND STOP THE RAIL ROADS.
REMEMBER MCARTHURS TACTIC OF GOING AROUND THE JAP HARD POINTS, AND CUTTING THEM OFF FROM SUPPORT. Thats the key here. FOR WHAT EVER IT'S WORTH.

THE UNIONS ARE ALREADY ON-BOARD - particularly the truckers; apparently, the whole idea originated within- or very closely associated with the Unions in the first place. And yes, they know exactly how it will be effective, even without having to be perfect - it's actually a very traditional strategy, tried-and-true (especially in Europe) for almost 100 years now.
